• I think this is worth a VEP to discuss there, but… preliminary discussion.

• Motivation: net binding plugins being migrated might need to redo some bits of the domainxml due to changes in the assigned networkinfo/deviceinfo structs.

• Will talk about it in the net-sig mtg I guess, but talking about it here first as if I recall the pre-migration hooks feature fell into sig-compute.

• I think there were some concerns about pre-migration hooks modifying arbitrary parts of the domainxml, which is a little bit the case for sidecars. Is that right?
