cause was 502 error downloading a dependency AFAICT
7x: 2026-02-18 20:53:10 +0000 UTC: make: *** [Makefile:37: bazel-build-images] Error 125 build-log
note: this is a legit build error in bazel that caused the 125, root cause was a quay.io 500 internal server error
