Exception Request for VEP #265 - Support for ppc64le Arch

Hi all,

I'd like to request a VEP freeze exception for VEP #265, Support for ppc64le Arch (owning SIG: compute; assignee @pkenchap).

- VEP PR https://github.com/kubevirt/enhancements/pull/258

- Target: Alpha in v1.10.0

1. Justification

Having received LGTM from VEP Reviewers, we are addressing comments which removes LGTM. We have addresses the remaining comments, and would ask reviewers resolve (or discuss) open items and mark LGTM.

2. Additional time requested

One week from the freeze date to resolve any remaining comments (or discuss about the alpha)

3. Impact if not granted

We are unable to proceed with our deliverable as an alpha on IBM Power.

Hi Paul,

I approved the VEP, I was personally waiting for the CI team's acknowledgment, as this will mostly involve enabling builds and changing how we do things.

Good luck with getting this across the line.
