Welcome to Structured Logging Working Group

Hello everyone, 

I would like to thank everyone who helped work on original work to bring Structured Logging to Alpha stage and later Kubelet migration. Creation of this working group would not happen without your assistance. 

With creation of working group we have pretty ambitious plans to modernize whole logging in Kubernetes components. Not only focusing on migration itself, but overall improvement in improving logging performance, reducing the dependencies and making logs more useful for users. All of this work should accommodate both small first time contributions as well as experienced ones requiring some redesign. 

Ongoing work:
*  Collecting approvals for WG creation  https://github.com/kubernetes/community/pull/5690
* Drafting WG Structured Logging charter

Upcoming:
* Dedicated Slack channel
* Regular virtual meetings on  Zoom
* Roadmap of the effort

I will try to post any updates. Hope to see you on the first virtual meeting soon!

I'm happy to announce that Structured Logging Working Group was officially established.

And I would like to welcome shubheksha@ as a co-lead of Structured Logging Working Group.
She was great help during work on Kubelet migration and I'm happy to that she decided to take even bigger role in the effort.

Now you can also reach out via dedicated #wg-structured-logging Slack channel. We are hoping to organize the first WG virtual meeting on Zoom next week. Questionnaire about preferred time slot should be send soon!
