Hi All,

I am evaluating several frameworks for managing containers at the edge - Azure IoT Edge, AWS Greengrass and KubeEdge.
I really like the fact of KubeEdge being open source and based on kubernetes.

I have some questions and I would really appreciate if someone could help me:

- What is the max number of nodes KubeEdge can handle? Is it the same as Kubernetes (5000 according to documentation)?
- Is it possible to have high availability to the master?
- Are there any know production deployments of KubeEdge?

thanks a lot,
Barak

You'll probably get more answers on the KubeEdge mailing list and Slack channel, listed here: https://www.cncf.io/sandbox-projects/

We can support ha for master. Huawei IEF is a production deployment on top of kubeedge.

As Dan called out, folks in the kubeedge slack channel can comment on the scalability.

Thanks
Cindy
