Hi everyone
for example if i have a machine with 8Go i can istantiate 8 VM with 1Go per VM
I want to ask if it's the same for containers? If yes so what's the difference i will choose VM why containers
I suppose that the answer is no because VM are more heavy then container so what is the correct response?

Containers can consume as little as 0.001 CPUs on platforms like
Kubernetes. You can run hundreds of small containers on a machine.
There's no VMM overhead, no guest OS overhead, and everything you do
in a container is transparent to the host OS. Tools like `ps` and
`kill` just work.
