kubectl get node only show Minion nodes

Just set up  a cluster. When  I run kubectl get node on the master it only show the 2 minion nodes, but doesn't show the master node itself? is it normal?

Yes. That is my case in kubernetes 1.2 :-)

I think in 1.3 it was changed to show the master but mark it to not schedule regular pods.

If the cluster is on GKE than that's what I also see (and I think is expected as the master is managed by google).
On vagrant w/ 1.3 I see the master together with other nodes.
