Hi!

Is there any difference creating my cluster using Kubernetes from the command line vs creating it on Google Developers Console user interface?
Do those both will create similar VMs, based on the latest container optimised image?

Thanks,
Kalman

Hey Kalman,
Currently the differences are the GUI interface in the cloud console, ease of use and integration with the cloud gcloud tool.  Other than that the code that is deployed is identical.

As we move forward from Alpha to GA, we're going to add further integration with the Google Cloud Platform, and (more importantly) the Google Cloud Platform will take on the operational responsibility for managing, updating and upgrading Container Engine clusters.  While that operational responsibility will always be yours if you are running OSS Kubernetes.

We are strongly committed to supporting the identical API and feature set for both Google Container Engine clusters and OSS Kubernetes clusters.

Hope that helps.
