Error kubectl edit deployment during configuration of admission controller in the Federation API server

Hi

as part in of installation of OPA- placement policies
https://kubernetes.io/docs/tasks/federation/set-up-placement-policies-federation/

I'm trying to edit api- federation deployment

"kubectl -n federation-system edit deployment apiserver"

the edit deployment file opened and when i make the changes of adding volume and flags to container im getting the error:

"A copy of your changes has been stored to "/tmp/kubectl-edit-hv5dh.yaml"
error: map: map[] does not contain declared merge key: name"

and I don't know why.

i don't think is syntax error.

can someone help with?

scp root@$MASTER_IP:/etc/kubernetes/admin.conf.

what is mean copy server to local?

i installed federation api on the master

         My machine master and node is running  but local not runing all time error show please see error

Unable to connect to the server: dial tcp 172.31.29.248:6443: i/o timeout
