How often will Heapster get metrics from kubelet

Hi,

I'd like to know how often Heapster will get metrics from kubelet, every 10s? Is this configurable?

And I have configured Heapster to send metrics to Elasticsearch with "--sink" option, again, how often will Heapster send metrics to Elasticsearch? Is it configurable?

Hi Qian,

The default scraping interval is 60s. It's configurable via metric_resolution flag, though it should be at least 2X bigger than scraping interval on kubelet which currently is 15s. Once metrics are being collected they are immediatelly sent to storage backends and there is no control here.
