- SIG Windows Leadership Changes - 2 Updates
Aravindh Puthiyaparambil <aravin...@pm.me>: Jan 13 07:59PM
On behalf of the current SIG Windows leadership, I am announcing that myself (Aravindh Puthiyaparambil) and Mark Rossetti will be stepping down from our roles as co-chairs. Mark will continue on as technical lead.
We are nominating Yuanliang Zhang and Jose Valdes co-chairs as discussed at the [January 13th, 2026 SIG Windows meeting](https://youtu.be/5Ayzph-21FE). Yuanliang has been involved in leading Windows support to the graceful shutdown Windows KEP, adding features for the gMSA webhook, adding Windows support to e2e node tests and improving the windows testing infrastructure. Jose Valdes has been involved with enabling Windows support for OpenShift and has been an active participant in the community meetings.
Lazy consensus deadline for this proposal is in a week - January 20th, 2025.
This email is sent in accordance with the process updates for [SIG leadership transitions](https://github.com/kubernetes/community/blob/master/contributors/chairs-and-techleads/leadership-changes.md).

as appropriate via any of:
