SIG-Security Leadership Update

Hello everybody,

It’s been a bit of a journey to get here and we’re incredibly grateful to have arrived. Kubernetes SIG Security’s formal creation is complete, thanks to many hands that have helped along the way.

We agreed to be chairs of this SIG to help facilitate its creation and future success. However, as we began, we realized the next phase of this SIG needs a different set of skills. To that end, Aaron Small, Craig Ingram, and Jay Beale will be stepping down as chairs and focusing on the audit sub-project.

Ian Coldwater and Tabitha Sable have graciously agreed to step in as chairs to grow the group. We believe that their leadership is better suited to facilitating the community building that will be so critical to this group’s success. Expect to hear more from them soon, via all the usual channels and perhaps some unusual ones as well.

We’re excited about the possibilities of the future, and hope to see you in SIG Security.
