The code is ready (I'll push in a few minutes), 5 days is just to make
sure reviewers can review in time. We just got the first review for this
PR very close to the freeze, that's why we are late.

Reason this enhancement is critical for this milestone:

It will delay GA graduation. Also, improving the validation should be
done sooner rather than later.

Risks from adding code late: (to k8s stability, testing, etc.)

Small, the PR code is small and well tested and scoped to
user-namespaces parts.

Risks from cutting enhancement: (partial implementation, critical
customer usecase, etc.)

It will delay GA graduation for at least one quarter.
