Reason this enhancement is critical for this milestone: All implementations are complete and merged except one last PR that needs more time for API review.

Risks from adding code late: (to k8s stability, testing, etc.): low. It's a staging/component-helper library

Risks from cutting enhancement: The integration with hiraricay podgroup will be delayed, therefore the WAS graduation will have to be postponed since this is a prerequisite to GA graduation.
