Hi all,

I would like to request an exception for PRR freeze for the enhancement of RestartAllContainers. Sorry I forgot to update the target stage for 1.36 in the PR, I already patched it to track for beta for 1.36. The enhancement PR is already open and has an LGTM.

  • Enhancement name: Restart all containers on container exits
  • Enhancement status (alpha/beta/stable): Beta
  • SIG: node
  • k/enhancements repo issue #: 5532
  • PR #’s: https://github.com/kubernetes/enhancements/pull/5821
  • Additional time needed (in calendar days, due end of day AoE): 1
  • Reason this enhancement is critical for this milestone: We'd like to graduate this feature to beta and the JobSet API team depends on this for more benchmarking and user intake.
  • Risks from adding code late: n/a
  • Risks from cutting enhancement: n/a
Best regards,
Yuan

Hi all,

We would like to request an exception to the PRR freeze for KEP-5823 Pod-level Checkpoint/Restore. A few hours before the deadline, we were missing a PRR approver. Kevin has confirmed that he is happy to help us with the review, and we have updated the KEP.

  • Additional time needed (in calendar days, due end of day AoE): 1
  • Reason this enhancement is critical for this milestone: We would like to provide the minimal set of CRI interfaces for the Pod-level Checkpoint/Restore functionality. These CRI changes would enable the development of the Pod checkpoint/restore functionality in runtimes such as CRI-O and containerd.
  • Risks from adding code late: n/a
  • Risks from cutting enhancement: n/a
    Many thanks,
    Radostin
