[Announcement] August Patch Release Delay

Hello,

I hope this email finds you well! SIG Release has decided to delay the August patch releases by ONE day. These patch releases, originally scheduled for August 13th, will now be released on August 14th. We elected to make this change because the Kubernetes 1.31 release is also scheduled for August 13th and we wanted to allow all of our focus and support to be made available to the 1.31 release.

We have already updated https://kubernetes.io/releases/patch-releases/ with the new target date. There is no change to the cherry pick deadline.
