Exception Request for PRR Freeze

Hi Release Team,

I would like to request an exception for the PRR freeze for KEP #2837: Pod Level Resource Specifications.

I missed requesting the addition of labels that track a KEP for release (lead-opted-in, milestone). The KEP update PR is out and under review for the last few days.

  • Enhancement name: Pod Level Resource Specifications

  • Enhancement status: Stable

  • SIG: node

  • k/enhancements issue #: 2837

  • PR #: 6180

  • Reason this enhancement is critical for this milestone: We intend to graduate this feature to GA in 1.37. The Dynamic Pods KEP depends on this functionality, and it has been stable in beta since 1.34.

  • Risks from adding this late: N/A (The KEP update is largely procedural to reflect the graduation).

  • Risks from not including this: If this exception is not granted, we risk delaying the dependent Dynamic Pods feature and missing the GA graduation target for 1.37.
