- Enhancement name: KubeletInUserNamespace
- Enhancement status (alpha/beta/stable): beta
- SIG: node
- k/enhancements repo issue #:
https://github.com/kubernetes/enhancements/issues/2033
- PR #’s: https://github.com/kubernetes/kubernetes/pull/134639
- Additional time needed: 3 days, for waiting review and approval. No
action is planned on my side, except for addressing review comments
and rebasing the PR.
- Reason this enhancement is critical for this milestone: The PR
extends `NodeSystemInfo` so that an admin can inspect whether a node
is running in UserNS
- Risks from adding code late: Low, as the amount of the code is small
- Risks from cutting enhancement: An admin cannot easily inspect
whether a node is running in UserNS

Hi all,

Unfortunately, the code+test PRs for this KEP didn't meet the Code Freeze Criteria within the updated deadline. Hence, the KEP is removed from the v1.35 milestone.

Thanks for understanding and your contributions,

Drew Hagen
