-- The Odyssey, Book II
With two weeks in, and -- inspired by the origin of our name -- taking a
page from The Odyssey, I wanted to provide a quick update on the state
of the release.
We're still very early in the cycle, but we have achieved a milestone
that I consider important: we have _finished the shadow selection
process_ and the Kubernetes v1.32 Release Team [0] is now complete -- our
crew is ready, and we're steadily following our planned timeline [1].
The Release Calendar [2] has been updated with all the relevant
information (including freezes and planned releases), the closest ones
being:
* Tue, Oct 1 (UTC) : Kubernetes 1.32.0-alpha.1
* Fri, Oct 11 (UTC): Begin Enhancements Freeze
A word of thank for the work of the EA, Release Leads, and the SIG
Release Release Team, and welcome to all the shadows.
Expect more updates in the next weeks; until then, warm regards,
--
Frederico Muñoz, on behalf of the Kubernetes v1.32 Release Team
