• Reason this enhancement is critical for this milestone: We identified some major issues with original beta code and we want to derisk this feature. PR drops a challenging support option for swap.
• Risks from adding code late: (to k8s stability, testing, etc.): None.
• Risks from cutting enhancement: (partial implementation, critical customer usecase, etc.): Feature has been beta for a long time and our goal is to finally get this in a state that can potentially GA.
  
  We are obtaining api-reviews and we would like to adjust the logging but not rush the changes. The author is also OOO for Thursday and Friday so the 7 days is mostly to give the author time to address some feedback.
