• Reason this enhancement is critical for this milestone:
• It is a blocker for driving DRA support to beta in KubeVirt
• Risks from adding code late: (to k8s stability, testing, etc.)
• The only risk for merging the KEP late is that it will shorten the feature development time for the implementation. 
• Risks from cutting enhancement: (partial implementation, critical customer usecase, etc.)
• Cutting the enhancement will delay the timeline of adopting DRA in beta in KubeVirt

The release team is APPROVING the exception request. The new deadline to merge all the Enhancements freeze requirements of this KEP is 7AM UTC. 

Just a note: we have a "Docs - Open placeholder PRs" deadline on October 23. Please make sure to open a Docs placeholder PR as well before October 23.
