Hi,

This is the exception request for the adding support for gRPC probe. PR was approved and failed to merge by code freeze because it was somehow blocked on a non-blocking test job. Right now there are minor issues with spec generation, rebasing and fixing.

Enhancement name: Add gRPC probe to Pod.Spec.Container.{Liveness,Readiness,Startup}Probe
Enhancement status (alpha/beta/stable): alpha
SIG: node
k/enhancements repo issue #: kubernetes/enhancements#2727
PR #’s: https://github.com/kubernetes/kubernetes/pull/106463
Additional time needed (in days):3 days (just in case)
Reason this enhancement is critical for this milestone: this is long waited feature with the low risk adding it
Risks from adding code late: low risk, it is an alpha feature, protected with the feature gate
Risks from cutting enhancement: long awaited feature, would be useful to many users
