Hi all,

at the last KubeCon, we changed our usual lunch meeting to a dinner (see this thread for context: $https://groups.google.com/g/kubernetes-sig-network/c/L29CIW8Gcmw/m/ufASQrvaAwAJ$).

I really enjoyed the dinner format and would love to repeat the dinner at this KubeCon if there is interest!

I've added a new tab to our old KubeCon EU spreadsheet to help us coordinate. That sheet seemed to work well last time (thanks again to Adrian Mosley for fixing the formulas!).

It is important to mention that this dinner is not exclusive for SIG Network members, everyone is welcome to attend. However, given the limited number of nights and people's schedules, we'll try to select a date and time that maximizes attendance among SIG Network regular members.

Let me know your availability on the spreadsheet!

So first, regardless if you can make SIG Network Dinner, note that there
are two other contributor-focused events:

- Kubernetes Contributor Hour https://sched.co/28xeX
Tuesday, November 11, 2025, 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm EST
Project Pavilion

- Kubernetes SIG/WG Meet + Greet Lunch https://sched.co/28xeb
Wednesday, November 12, 2025, 12:00 pm - 2:30 pm EST
Building B | Level 2 | B216-217

(In particular, the "Contributor Hour" is new this KubeCon.)

As for SIG Network dinner, please add yourself to the spreadsheet[1] if
you plan to come and you haven't already. It's looking like there's
currently a pretty strong consensus for Monday night (which could still
turn into Tuesday if we suddenly get a bunch of "can't make it Monday"
people, but Wednesday and Thursday are definitely out).

There will probably be another email with more details, but either way,
we'll post details on #sig-network on Slack on that Monday evening.

There is a Cilium dev summit until 8 pm on Monday if there are some cross attendees (maybe it's just me?)

OK, plan is, meet at Politan Row at Colony Square[1] at 7pm. (This is
the "fancy food court" option, so we don't need to worry about all
arriving at exactly the same time; we'll just grab a bunch of
tables/couches and as people show up they can join up with the group
and then wander around to find a food (and drink) option they like.)

Colony Square is a collection of buildings on the northeast corner of
14th and Peachtree Streets in Midtown, a cab/Lyft/Uber ride from the
conference center and the downtown hotels. (It's about a 5 minute walk
from either the Midtown or Arts Center MARTA stops if you want to take
the subway.)

Politan Row is in the middle of the Colony Square complex, so it's not
visible from outside, but it's basically directly behind the building
on the corner. From the 14th St side, go up the stairs to the right of
Rumi's Kitchen, and around. From the Peachtree side (which is probably
where cars will drop you off), go down the walkway between 5Church and
Chick-fil-A.

I'll try to post a picture to Slack to make it clear where we are but
I assume it won't be that crowded on a Monday night so a big group of
nerds should be pretty obvious.

I uploaded some of the pictures we took yesterday after the dinner to the sig-network slack channel https://kubernetes.slack.com/archives/C09QYUH5W/p1762829842301179
