ACTION
#1: February Chair and TL Meeting agenda is almost full.
Context: We had 32 chairs and tech leads come to the January meetings to kick this off. Now we are full steam into the program with discussion time and how-to’s - a little something for everyone. Please help us shape this by giving us recommendations on what you’d like to hear/talk about/share. #chairs-and-techleads or the ML for discourse.
ACTION #2: Contributor Summit Information for Amsterdam
Context: In case you missed it, registration for the Contributor Summit in Amsterdam is now open! https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/kubernetes-dev/R6yMpBbcFDo
Just a reminder that you as a SIG can sponsor a non-org member into the summit. This is to cover new contributors who might not officially be org members yet, or compatriots from other projects who you might want at the summit who don't day-to-day work on Kubernetes. If you have people like this in mind please send us a mail to comm...@kubernetes.io with the person's contact information so we can check them off in registration.
See you all in Amsterdam!
ACTION #3: SIG Meet and Greet for Amsterdam
We are also looking for representatives for each SIG/WG for the SIG Meet & Greet at the Contributor Summit. Please have volunteers sign up at https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfzsdsNDKpZiSj7x6-4fCNjBumSkMM1yuZGf_oEZApB3C9DXQ/viewform
ACTION #3: GSoC internship proposals are Due! Every SIG has at least a 2 month project scoped - submit it!
Context: It’s that time of year. Did you know that 3 of our top contributors came from GSoC? There is a proven track record with Kubernetes and this program. Do you have a project that has been sitting for a while in your “we don’t have time for this” bucket? Please submit. Check k-dev ML for details from Ihor.
