1.18 Release Cycle Begins!

Hello SIG Leads,

This email is to inform you all that the release cycle for Kubernetes 1.18 has officially begun.

At this moment, we are aiming for the following major milestones

1. Monday, January 06: Week 1 - Release cycle begins 2. Tuesday, January 28: Week 4 - Enhancements Freeze 3. Thursday, March 05: Week 9 - Code Freeze 4. Monday, March 16: Week 11 - Docs must be completed and reviewed 5. Tuesday, March 24: Week 12 - Kubernetes v1.18.0 released

My name is Jorge Alarcon Ochoa and I will be acting as the lead for the release lead throughout this cycle.
