Kubernetes Chair/TL Need to Know - #15

Hey there all,
Here is the latest need-to-know/action items, please take a look at these when you get a chance as some are time sensitive.
ACTION #1: Changes to the Upcoming Release Cycles
Context: The global pandemic has impacted many members of our community. With this in mind, the 1.19 release cycle is being extended and several other changes potentially put in place. For more information, see the discussion on k-dev. Commentary on these potential changes should be directed to the PR updating the schedule. There is a lazy consensus date set for Friday, April 24, 5pm US ET.
ACTION #2: Both the Contributor Summit and KubeCon EU will be virtual events
Context: The Netherlands has extended the ban on large events through September 1st. The events team will follow up with a general announcement and plan for for the summit. KubeCon / Contributor Summit Boston at this time is still being planned for November 16th.
ACTION #3: Check Zoom Recordings are being uploaded
Context: If you are one of the SIG/WG with the Zoom -> YouTube automation enabled, verify your recordings are being uploaded. Zoom has had ongoing scaling issues with their surge in use that has lead to their webhooks intermittently firing. This has caused many recordings to not make it to YouTube automatically. These recordings should be uploaded manually. If you need assistance, ping @youtube-admins in the #sig-contribex channel.
ACTION #4: Review the open Chair role PR
Context: The governance documentation for SIG leadership roles is in the process of being updated; deduped consolidated and more details added. Reviews and opinions should be directed to this PR with the current draft of the updates.
