Hello!

During this weekend and Monday EU morning/afternoon (4-5/Jun/2022), we are experiencing issues with Prow and related systems. We don't have anyone in the EU timezone for on-call or during the weekend to help.

I’m proposing to myself (Carlos Panato @cpanato) to be on-call to help in the EU timezone.
If that is something we can consider, I will need some basic training and access to the necessary systems/infra.

I'm open to discussions

thanks for your attention

Arnaud, Ben,

I'd support this! the question is, do we currently have an ACL that we can add folks like Carlos to?

thanks,
Dims

No, not for this problem, which is why I've been ambivalent about https://github.com/kubernetes/test-infra/pull/25990

Not only does sig-k8s-infra not have any actual rotation tooling, all of the infrastructure under google.com is only accessible to Googlers, until it is migrated to sig-k8s-infra, which currently includes ~all of test-infra.

For the sig-k8s-infra hosted infrastructure, there are plenty of ACLs we could consider in the kubernetes/k8s.io repo.

I think Ben gave a good summary of the existing environment.
+1 on the idea to onboard people interested to be on-call for the community-owned infrastructure.

Be a member of k8s-infra-...@kubernetes.io[0] is a good starting point.
