This release tracks the Kubernetes 1.36 cycle and brings the library up to date with the latest dependencies:

• Kubernetes dependencies updated to v1.36 (k8s.io/api, k8s.io/apiserver, etc. → v0.36.1)
• Go bumped to 1.26.4 (go.mod now requires Go 1.26)
• golangci-lint upgraded (v2.12.2) and lint install script improved per community best practices; lint warnings fixed
• Several transitive dependency bumps:
• google.golang.org/grpc 1.72.2 → 1.79.3
• go.opentelemetry.io/otel/sdk 1.36.0 → 1.43.0
• k8s.io/klog/v2 and other k8s dependency groups updated
• Auto-generated files regenerated

Upgrade notes
If you build adapters against this library, please make sure your toolchain uses Go 1.26+ and align your k8s.io/* dependencies with v0.36.x to avoid version conflicts.
