[ANNOUNCEMENT] Branch Rename to main: kubernetes/contributor-site

Hi everyone,

The SIG ContribEx team is planning an upcoming repository migration and rename for the kubernetes/contributor-site repository.

As we streamline our infrastructure and align with the project's current scope, we would like to notify all SIGs and WGs that may be affected or aware of these changes.

What you need to know:

• Impact: Short periods of read-only access or minor disruptions to PR merges may occur during the cutover window. Local clones will need their remote URLs updated post-migration, though GitHub redirects will be in place.\

• For the moment, have PRs open to update the branch references where the `master` branch is being used, and please ping the #sig-contribex channel if there are any projects missing in this GitHub issue.

If you have any specific concerns, repo dependencies, or automated tooling that might be affected by this rename, please reply to this thread or reach out to us in the #sig-contribex Slack channel.
