Cluster API 1.7 Sneak Peek

Hello hello,

We hope you are aware of recent minor release of CAPI v1.6.0 🎉 Now, it's time already to start the process for the CAPI 1.7 release.

The release cycle commenced this week on Monday, December 11th and we’re targeting Tuesday, April 16th 2024 for the final v1.7.0 minor release cut. The major milestones for the 1.7 release[1] are the following:

• Release Cycle begins: Monday, December 11th 2023
• v1.6.0-beta.0 released: Tuesday, March 12th 2024
• Code Freeze: Tuesday, April 2nd 2024
• Release Day: Tuesday, April 16th 2024

My name is Stephen Cahill, and I'm the Release Lead for the 1.7 cycle. I'm happy to have Nawaz Hussain K, Mohamed Chiheb Ben Jemaa, Akshay Gaikwad, Akshay Gaikwad and Vibhor Chinda joining me as Release Lead Shadows.

• William Yao as Communications/Docs/Release Notes Manager Lead
