Hello everyone,

Cluster API v1.8.0-rc.1 has been released! 🎉🎉

🚨  This is a RELEASE CANDIDATE. Use it only for testing purposes. If you find any bugs, file an issue.

Highlights
  • Bumped to controller-runtime v0.18, k8s.io/* v0.30, controller-gen v0.15, Go 1.22
  • API: Add support for negative polarity conditions
  • API: Allow control plane provider to set control plane endpoint
  • CABPK: Add kubeadm v1beta4 types (including ExtraEnvs and ImagePullSerial)
  • CABPK: Allow to generate JoinConfiguration discovery kubeconfig
