#63421 adds bash completion of discovered resource names, but explain needs to be updated to allow using group-qualified resource names like deployments.apps. Currently, kubectl explain deployments.apps tries to look for a field named apps in the first deployments resource it sees.
Issues go stale after 90d of inactivity.
