Proposal to donate predictive autoscaler to kubernetes SIG autoscaling

Hello SIG Autoscaling team,

I am Sanjeev Ganjihal, currently working at Amazon Web Services. I  have been working on predictive autoscaler custom solution for a long time. I am finally excited to see the autoscaler shaping up well and doing what its meant for. I want to submit a proposal for SIG autoscaling to consider the project. I want to know whats the process to get this project to be part of the autoscaling. 

I have attached the proposal markdown file and looking forward to hear from the sig team.

This definitely looks very interesting and timely. Kudos for a very detailed proposal. I've had quite a number of conversations on predictive autoscaling in the last year.

Would love to take your solution for a test drive. Also - why not do vertical autoscaling as well?

Hi Everyone,

I have been spending time on building predictive capabilities into a custom autoscaler as a personal project and nothing is endorsed from AWS. The code is currently private but I will be sharing more details soon. The goal was to see if SIG team was actively working on predictive autoscaler, hence I submitted the proposal. I will be sharing more details soon.

We do need any project proposed for adoption to be public, so that we can see the source, and evaluate the history of community contributions, open discussion, overall project health, etc. Your project sounds fun, please share when your community project is publicly run!
