Promoting sigs.k8s.io/karpenter to package version v1.0.0

Hey folks,

Just wanted to make sure to loop folks in just in case you missed the Slack threads on Karpenter's upcoming versioning bump:

The maintainers have been putting a ton of work in getting Karpenter v1 in a good place to release. We wanted to give everyone a heads-up on how package versioning is going to work for the sigs.k8s.io/karpenter package moving forward (we’ve touched on this a bit in Karpenter WG). TLDR: We’re planning to promote the package version to v1.0.0, more details in https://github.com/kubernetes-sigs/karpenter/issues/1570. Feel free to add to the issue if you have any questions or objections to how this should be handled. We’ll look to hear back from folks over the next day on the issue — if no one has any problems with the proposal, we’ll bump the package version to v1.0.0 on release.
