Hey there SIG-Apps!

We are proud to announce that we recently launched the initial prototype of App Registry (previously known as CNR) and its integration with Quay. Our initial focus has been on integrating with Helm. With our Helm Registry Plugin, you can push, pull, and manage charts much like container images. Our hope is that this project fills in some of the gaps in users' Kubernetes CI/CD toolchain. We plan on giving a demo in the following SIG-Apps weekly meeting. But the gist is that this workflow now exists:

$ helm create myapp

$ helm registry login -u username quay.io

$ cd myapp

$ helm registry push quay.io/username/myapp

$ helm registry install quay.io/username/myapp

This work is currently in beta and looking for feedback. You can find instructions for trying out the project here. This is a community-driven project; if you have any questions or criticisms, feel free to get involved in typical GitHub fashion.

Very slick.  I look forward to playing with it.  Kudos to the team!
