Group Mentoring cohort for Contributor Ladder

Hello sig-apps,
We are starting a mentoring program for sig-apps and its subproject members who are interested in becoming reviewers and will help them rise up in the Contributor Ladder. The cohort, which will comprise of a group of 10 mentees, is tentatively planned to kickoff on the 15th of August.
If you are interested to become a mentee for this training program, please comment on the GitHub issue specifying sig-apps as your area of interest. 

The requirements expected from a mentee are-

• Must be GitHub org-member of Kubernetes or Kubernetes-SIGs(first step)
• Member of SIGs slack channels, mailing lists, and attend meetings
• Time commitment of 2-3 hours a week
• Commitment to stick around with the project at least 1 year post the training program
• Desire to work and learn in a group setting and help out peers on a similar journey; this is not a competition, we can take all of you if you make it through the program and have the support of current OWNERs

Note: This is NOT a program for new contributors at this time, but #sig-contribex and #kubernetes-contributors can help with onboarding questions if you need it.
