Kubernetes Contributor Summit NA - Social and Event Information

Hey there kubernauts,

 

TL;DR:

• Hang out with other contributors on October 11th in Ballroom 6 of the JW Marriott LA Live[1].

• RSVP[2] to attend the evening social event of bowling, billiards, and more at Lucky Strike[3].

• You must pick up your badge at the Los Angeles Convention Center (LACC)[4] before going to the summit or evening social.

The North America Summit will be an informal event taking place on October 11th in Los Angeles, California alongside KubeCon North America at the JW Marriott LA Live[1]. Due to low registration numbers, we have downsized the event; however that doesn’t mean we can’t get together and have some fun. Come swing by Ballroom 6 between 9am and 4pm to hang out and hack on things with your fellow contributors. :)

 

After the summit, head on over to Lucky Strike[3] for some good eats, bowling, billiards, and more! If you plan to attend, please RSVP[2] as soon as possible.

 

NOTE: For both events, you MUST pick up your KubeCon badge at the Los Angeles Convention Center (LACC)[4] before attending either event. This is to validate covid vaccination and is a requirement for all co-located events per the health and safety guidelines[5].

It's from 5pm-8pm and I've included the general schedule for things below:

October 10th

• 2pm - 6pm - Registration + Vaccine Verification + Badge Pick-up @ the LACC

October 11th

• 8am - 6pm - Registration + Vaccine Verification + Badge Pick-up @ the LACC
• 9am - 4pm - Contributor hangout @ the Marriott (ballroom 6)
• 5pm - 8pm - Evening social with bowling and billiards @ Lucky Strike
