Consolidating October and November Patch Releases

Dear Kubernetes community,
After further discussion, we’ve decided to skip the October patch releases altogether. Given the timing, the remaining work on the Go version updates, and the proximity to the November release cycle, it makes more sense to consolidate efforts into the upcoming November patch releases.

After further discussion, we’ve decided to skip the October patch releases altogether. Given the timing, the remaining work on the Go version updates, and the proximity to the November release cycle, it makes more sense to consolidate efforts into the upcoming November patch releases.
Please note that one more 1.31 patch release will be included in the November cycle to account for its EoL timing. The deadline for cherry picks is Friday, November 7, 2025 at 5 PM PT.
