Update: October 2025 Patch Releases Delayed

Dear Kubernetes community,

Following up on our earlier note about the October patch releases: due to ongoing issues with the recent Go version updates, we’ve decided to further delay the patch releases originally rescheduled for this week.

We’ll continue working on stabilizing the Go updates and aim to cut the patch releases early next week. In the meantime, we are extending the cherry-pick deadline to Friday, October 24, 2025, at 5 PM PT to allow additional PRs to be included in these releases.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we ensure these updates are delivered safely and reliably.
