Model Registry for Kubeflow

Hello folks,

A few of us from Red Hat have been actively engaged in developing a Model Registry solution within the Open Data Hub community. We like to explore the possibility of bringing this project into the Kubeflow community. Our aim is to foster an inclusive and vendor-agnostic environment, prioritizing open governance principles.

We have initiated discussions regarding this opportunity on [1] and have updated our proposal accordingly, available for review [2].

We are seeking

1. Your approval for this project to be hosted in the Kubeflow community
2. Your feedback on the proposal, and additional use cases you bring to the table.
3. Your participation, if you think this is useful for you then come develop this with us.
   

To facilitate further discussion and address any questions, I am planning a community meeting in the next couple of weeks. A subsequent email with details will follow soon.

Great to see this initiative! Clicking on the link you had for the even though shows me in calendar that it can't find the event. Could you confirm the link is the correct one?

Sorry, Kimonas I originally added it to Red Hat's internal calendar so that may not let you accept the invite. I copied the same invite to my Gmail account and placed it in the public calendar so anyone can add themselves to the invite by clicking this link [1]
