Dear Kubeflow Community,

On behalf of the Election Officers for Kubeflow Steering Committee (KSC) Election, I am thrilled to announce the results and welcome our three newly elected KSC Members: Andrey Velichkevich, Chase Christensen, Mathew Wicks. Congratulations to you all, and we are excited to see the impact of your leadership on the Kubeflow project for the 2026 and 2027 term!

A special note of appreciation goes to Kimonas Sotirchos and Ricardo Martinelli de Oliveira for their time and dedication to the Kubeflow community and their willingness to run in this election. We are grateful for their commitment and look forward to your continued support and contributions to the project.

We would also like to express our deepest gratitude to Yuan (Terry) Tang and Johnu George for their invaluable service to the Kubeflow Project and the KSC. Their leadership has been instrumental in shaping Kubeflow into what it is today. We are confident they will continue to bring their expertise and passion to the community in the future.

Additionally, we want to thank David Simmons for his willingness to shadow and learn the election process. His interest and involvement help ensure a smooth and transparent process for future elections.

In the upcoming days, we will publish the schedule for the next election. This will give everyone the opportunity to plan and work toward meeting the commitment requirements while adding the election timeline to their calendars.

Thank you to everyone who participated in this year’s election process. The Kubeflow community thrives because of your dedication and engagement. Let’s continue to work together to build and grow this incredible project in 2026 and beyond.
