[GSoC 2026] Contributor Introduction – Interest in Project 1: Agentic RAG on Kubeflow (docs-agent)

Hi Kubeflow community,

My name is Vashista C V, a final-year B.E. CSE student from Jain Institute of Technology, Davangere (CGPA 8.8/10.0, graduating May 2026). I am interested in contributing to Project 1: Agentic RAG on Kubeflow as part of GSoC 2026.

A bit about my background: I have built and deployed a production RAG system called Samarth AI (projectsamarth.vercel.app) using LangChain, ChromaDB, and open-source LLMs. I also completed a research internship at ISRO-NRSC where I built deep learning pipelines (CNN/LSTM/Transformer) in PyTorch and TensorFlow on satellite data. I have a published paper in IJPREMS (December 2024).

I have submitted my proposal and I am currently reading through the kubeflow/docs-agent codebase to identify a good first contribution. I am also actively ramping up on KFP SDK v2 and KServe before the coding period begins.

I would love any feedback from @chasecadet or @tarekabouzeid on my proposal direction, and I am happy to discuss the architecture in more detail.
