2024 KSC Elections - Election Phase Open

Hi all, 

The KSC Elections are underway.  Some voter keys have been sent and as I get email addresses I will update the issue and send the keys. 

The election phase will be open for 3 weeks and end on 12 January 2025 at 12:00pm Pacific Time. 

If you have sent me your email address and haven't gotten a voting key yet, you should receive it by the end of today.

You may get a warning that the site is "unsafe". It's because their certificate expired a couple days ago.  I sent a note to the admin but haven't received an update.  You should be able to continue to the site and vote. (I was able to when I tried it)

You may need to activate your email address in order to vote. Instructions should have been sent to you by the CIVS system.  However,  I'll also send everyone who needs to activate their email instructions by the end of the day as well.  Once your email is activated you will be able to see the poll. 

Please let me know if you have any issues and good luck to each of our candidates.

Hi all, 

There are 3 days left in the election.  I've updated the Github issue and listed the people I still need email addresses for.  For those whose email address I have and who still need to activate their email address, I've sent the activation link.  I've also resent keys to those who have still not voted.  I'll resend again tonight and in the morning.  Please note you will not see the poll until you activate your email address. 

For those who have sent me people's email addresses, I have sent a verification email to them as well.  Once they confirm I will be able to sent them their key's as well. If you know anyone listed on the issue please let them know to contact me with their email address so I can get them added.

Hi all, 

The election phase ends on 12 January 2025 at 12:00pm PT.  Please note I have sent out 52 keys and only 28 people have voted so far.  I resent keys just a few minutes ago and out of the 52 keys sent 12 people have not activated their emails. I sent reminders to those folks this morning as well. If you haven't gotten your key please check your spam mail.
