:announce: Kubebuilder v3.14.2 has been released!

Hi Everybody,

Kubebuilder v3.14.2 has been released!

This release includes a Kubernetes dependency minor bump from v1.19.0 to v1.19.2 and controller-runtime minor bump from v0.17.2 to v0.17.3 and bug fixes.

IMPORTANT:  Please note that kube-rbac-proxy is now deprecated and will be discontinued in a future release.

 

If you want to still use this project, it is recommended that you switch to the images directly provided by the project. For more details, please refer to the project’s image repository. 

 

The Kubebuilder can no longer support the promotion and building of these images. All images previously built and promoted will no longer be available starting April 22, 2025.  (`gcr.io/kubebuilder/kube-rbac-proxy:<all>`) This change may impact your production workloads if they rely on these images.
