Kubebuilder v3.4.0 has been released!

This release includes updating the Makefile templates so they work with go 1.18. Note that go 1.18 is not officially supported yet, and some dependencies may still have compatibility issues. For users who wish to try to use go 1.18, please direct any encountered problems to this issue in order to keep them in one place and reduce noise.

The following version updates in scaffolding have been made:

`go.mod`
- `k8s.io/*` :: v1.23.0 => v1.23.5`
- `controller-runtime` :: v0.11.0 => 0.11.2
`manager.yaml`
- `kube-rbac-proxy` image :: v0.8.0 => v0.11.0
