Sunrise Crandon Park Beach Key Biscayne. On a recent sunday, we spent less than 2 hours birding, we saw 20 species, including several statuesque sandhill cranes, a huge number of white ibises, and a number of displaying peacocks. A natural gem in key biscayne just across the rickenbacker causeway from mainland miami, crandon park is wonderfully convenient but also a world away from the urban bustle.
