Hi everyone,

As we are leaving Nepal for a couple of years, we are putting up our
newly built house for rent

Situated in the picturesque setting of Budhanilkantha, this architecturally
designed residence built in 2011, is elegant and sophisticated at the same
time earthquake resistant.

The thoughtfully built house features light-filled interiors with an
inspired use of bricks and wood, space and abundant natural light. Sitting
on a large 922 sq. mt, the home offers quality modern appointments with
exquisite granite in the kitchen and a dining area overlooking the grand
family room, which opens out through wooden doors onto back garden areas
creating a nice free flowing space for those special occasions.

The ground floor opens to a large foyer form which can be accessed a
bedroom/study, a large living room with an open fireplace, and a kitchen
which connects with the dining room. There is one pantry and a separate
storeroom alongside a restroom with granite and handcrafted copper sink.

The stairs from the foyer leads up to the first floor, which opens up to a
large living space. The master bedroom has ensuite bathroom with a large
bathtub and walk-in-robe. Two other bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms with
showers and built-in wardrobes. A narrow Newari style wooden stairs leads
up to the second floor, which hosts a huge multipurpose room, currently
with snooker table in it. There is a laundry space and a shower with a room
that can be converted to a “Sauna” room. There is a huge balcony on the
second floor from which one can have a panoramic view of the Kathmandu
Valley to the south or the beautiful Shivapuri forest to the north.

The house is built so that an open space flows through each of the floors
and the second floor is visible from the ground floor for one continuous
open space.

To be rented partly furnished with high quality wooden furniture. We would
also wish tenant to consider keeping our 2-year-old “Ninja” German shepherd
as guardian dog (very gentle and loving otherwise).

Proposed rent is $1800/month.

The house comes with a day guard/gardener seven days a week.

Attached is the flyer for the home.

thanks,
dipendra
