We would Like to invite you to join the Dance Workshop Organize by Nritya Aagan in  collaboration with Srijanalay  for Kathmandu Trienniale Education Outreach Program

Nritya Aagan was established in 2009 ,is a Dance Studio where different dance form meet.Over the yeras,it has gained recognition for both noval performances as a well the classes in runs .

Srijanalaya is a non Profit non  governmental organization,established to create safe space  of learning through the arts.Srijanalaya as the education partner  for Kathmandu Triennale  2017, is responsible for the Education outreach program.

Title: Multi-generational Dance Workshop

Workshop Description:
Subima and Ryan will lead a dance workshop created specifically for a multi-generational group. With different backgrounds in dance and performance, the two will come together to lead movement exercises, ultimately creating short finalized pieces. Subima Shrestha is a kathak dancer and teacher. Ryan Elisabeth Reid is a post-modern dancer and choreographer. Together, they will merge their knowledge to share with a diverse group of ages, dance backgrounds, and approach to the workshop model. Currently, Ryan and Subima are making a multi-generational dance performance with Nepali women. Additionally, we will invite participants, performance artists, visual artists, and friends to dance with us
