As Iran recommences negotiations over its nuclear program (boo boring)
and North Korea fails to launch a 'satellite', what better way to
remind yourself of the inherent madness of nuclear warfare than with
the funniest film ever made about nuclear holocaust. For it's
inaugural screening, Cinémandir presents Stanley Kubrick's 'Dr.
Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb', a
film about what happens when the wrong person is in the wrong place at
the wrong time, pushing the wrong button. A film that gets better
every time you watch it, Dr. Strangelove is a masterpiece on the inter-
relationship between sexuality and violence, and a pitch-perfect
pastiche of Cold War insanity.

In the first of a series of free bi-monthly film screenings,
Cinémandir invites you to join us at Station BBQ in Sanepa, near Soma
Cafe. The film starts at 7:30 PM, seating is first-come first-served
so get there early to avoid disappointment!
