I am sure you are aware of the self-worship ritual performed by the Newā people every year on the occasion of the Nepal Samvat new year.
Kipoo House is hosting this event, known as Mha Puja, followed by a full-course sit-down Newā feast. The participants will go on a walking tour of the old Kiritpur city for an hour before the ritual begins.
Here are the details of the event:
Date: October 20, 2025 Monday
Time: 3 pm - 8 pm
Venue: Kipoo House, Kirtipur
Cost: US$ 100 per person
Includes: Curated walking tour, Mha Puja, Newā feast, bottomless bar (local drinks), live band
